2025 Paving and Drainage Project

The 2025 Paving and Drainage Project is planned to commence in the spring/summer of 2025. The project will consist of repaving roughly 10 miles of roadway and 4.5 miles of trail. The project will also include various drainage improvements and utility upgrades.

Notable areas of traffic impacts will be along West River Street during paving prep and paving operations. The project will also include trail closures along the Legacy Trail for utility improvements and paving operations. Project work will take place from the Regional Park Lower BBQ Area to the East River Street Bridge as well as from the Glenshire Trailhead to the 2024 Paving Project extents (roughly by the Tahoe-Truckee Sanitation Agency Plant).
