As spring weather approaches, it’s the perfect time to give our beautiful streets and trails a little extra shine! The Truckee Litter Corps, a community-driven initiative supported by the Town of Truckee, invites you to take part in an Earth Week cleanup event on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Whether you’re available for just an hour or can stay for the entire duration, your efforts will make a big difference in keeping Truckee clean and green.

The cleanup location will be announced one week prior to the event but will take place in either historic downtown Truckee or the Donner Lake area.

How the event works:

  • Check-in at the designated meeting spot to receive cleanup supplies and your assigned area.
  • Put on your gloves, grab your gear, and help clean our streets, trails, and public spaces!

This is a community-wide effort, and we encourage volunteers of all ages to get involved. Even just an hour of your time can have a meaningful impact.

Important Information:

  • All volunteers must sign up in advance. Please visit the Truckee Litter Corps page on the Keep Truckee Green website to register.
  • Truckee Litter Corps meets on the last Thursday of each month. The upcoming 2025 cleanup dates are:
    • April 24 (weather dependent)
    • May 29
    • June 7 (Join us for Truckee Day!)
    • July 31
    • August 28
    • September 25

Let’s work together to keep Truckee beautiful!
