Public Records

The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for maintaining all official Town records in accordance with State, Federal, and Local regulations, as outlined in California Government Code Section 7920, et seq., also known as the Public Records Act. Staff is allowed a period of ten days to respond to your request.

The Town of Truckee offers a variety of documents online for public access, including Town Council agendas and minutes, Planning Commission agendas and minutes, budget information and staff reports used for decision-making by various governing bodies.

Request Records

Make a Request for Public Records online. If you are requesting building plans, please include the signed affidavit to the Records Office via email. The affidavit must be signed by the owner of the property.
